Collection: Dune Collection

The Dune Collection is a series of sculptural homeware pieces inspired by the textures and shapes of a vast sand dune in Iquique, a city in northern Chile where I grew up. Surrounded by ocean on one side and desert on the other, Iquique is overlooked by Dragon Hill—a giant dune that has always felt like a quiet, powerful presence in the landscape.

In the desert, colours shift with the light. During the day, warm oranges and browns dominate, and as the sun sets over the Pacific, soft purples begin to emerge. The wind shapes the sand into flowing patterns—sometimes broad and sweeping, and up close, delicate and detailed, almost like fingerprints.

With this collection, the intention is to capture that sense of movement and invite touch. The way light and shadow play across each piece brings the forms to life, encouraging a tactile connection with the objects.
